If you find yourself kissing the earth next time you do a downward facing dog, consider it yoga getting fresh with you. It’s bound to happen when you spend an afternoon combining gourmet farm eats with a yoga class, and maybe even some farm drinks (i.e., wine) on a Farm to Table Yoga
date with Wildsoul Yoga. Friendly founder Ben Crosky has created day-long culinary yoga retreats that happen once a month at different locations throughout the Bay Area—usually at a farm or a winery. Get ready to get your fill. After touring the farm, you’ll take a yoga class and eat a meal cooked by a guest chef on the farm. You’ll probably make a bunch of new friends, too (a toast to that!). Next month’s Farm to Table Yoga will happen at True Grass Farms in Marin, with more to come at different locations in the coming months. Om-mazing!
BONUS: Wildsoul Yoga also operates a monthly pop-up breakfast club at secret locations. A guest chef cooks up a fresh feast for about 25 people in a backyard or any spot where guests can connect with the food they put into their bodies. The breakfasts focus on learning about the origins of food and appreciating the magic that a garden or farm can create.
The next Farm to Table Yoga takes place May 3 at True Grass Farms in Valley Ford, $105 all-inclusive. The breakfast club next happens on May 10 at a secret location; sign up to find out: sliding scale $20-$35.
