You won’t need to roll out your mat for this yoga class. Instead, hit the cool and calm waters of Richardson Bay to strike some poses on a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP). OnBoardFitness offers a fresh dose of morning Om with SUP Yoga classes based out of Sea Trek in Sausalito. From Schoonmaker Beach, paddle into the tiny protected cove on Richardson Bay for a 75-minute session. Warm up and get your sea legs by balancing your feet on the board and using your arms for locomotion. Then gather around a pro instructor and follow their lead into plank position. Try not to be distracted by playful seals circling and moon jellies pulsating as you do a downward-facing dog. The boards are large and stable (the only people who have fallen off their boards are those who forgot they were on the water), but balance is key, and SUP Yoga works your core double-duty. Savasana, the final position of lying flat on your back, is a memorable moment as the salty sea breeze sweeps over you.

BONUS: Afterward, head to nearby Le Garage Bistro and grab an outdoor table overlooking the sailboats. The P.E.I. Mussels with Herbes de Provence sausage are a post-yoga yummy on the weekend brunch menu.

SUP Yoga with OnBoardFitness is based out of SeaTrek at Schoonmaker Point Marina in Sausalito: Sunday, 8:30 a.m.–9:45 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 a.m.–10:15 a.m. Cost is $25 per session (board rental included).
