Gondola Through the Redwoods

Where else can you take a gondola through a redwood forest? Hop on board the Trees of Mystery “Sky Trail” gondola for a bird’s-eye view of giant redwoods. Bonus: From the summit’s observation deck, you’ll get a mountaintop ocean vista, too!

Low Tide Lighthouse

Battery Point Lighthouse sits on a tidal island and is only accessible at low tide! You’ll have to cross 200 feet between the mainland and the island to reach this historic lighthouse.

Star Attractions

Do a self-guided tour of famous and award-winning movies filmed in Del Norte, including the recent Sandra Bullock Netflix hit Bird Box (filmed on the sublime Smith River) and Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, where Star Wars: Return of the Jedi featured the iconic Ewok air scooter forest chase.
