Humboldt County Fall Getaway to the Redwoods

We get it. You like ’em tall! And the trees around here just aren’t doing it for you. So, what’s a person to do? Make a date with Humboldt County! It’s home to Redwood National and State Parks, a treasure trove of coastal redwoods that just happen to be the tallest on the entire planet!

Get ready for some redwoods magic. Corkscrew Tree, Big Tree, and Lady Bird Johnson Grove are massive must-sees. Set up base in charming Arcata or delightful Eureka, with their strollable downtowns and varieties of restaurants.

You’ll be close to beautiful beaches, miles of hiking and biking trails, and incredible walks through the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary or Sequoia Park Forest, where you’ll find even more giant redwoods. This fall, Humboldt County stands tall on the to-do list!
