Splendor in the Marsh
Marsh Park Glendale Narrows
Many years ago if Marsh Park had been on Tinder, it might have gotten a pretty swift left swipe. But not today! This little gem along the LA River underwent a massive makeover a few years ago, including several environmentally conscious features to promote sustainability and river health. Wander around and admire the native plants and wildlife thriving in the Glendale Narrows due to the river's "soft bottom" (no concrete). There's also exercise equipment, for those who like to impress their date by flexing some muscles. The must do: bring a picnic to enjoy at one of the tables or in the beautiful green meadow.
Marsh Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset and is closed during hazardous weather. Free parking lots are located at 2999 Rosanna St. and 2944 Gleneden St. You can also gain access to the park from the bike path or 2960 Marsh St. Dog-friendly!
