Meet Your Match

Team In Training Summer Events - Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Napa-Sonoma

What’s your thing: Hiking? Cycling? Running? Do your thing in the most beautiful places in California! Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and Napa-Sonoma wine country are your host destinations for three premier events you could attend with Team In Training in 2019, all for an amazing cause. (Bonus: the rumor is true that numerous matches—from love interests to newfound friends—have come from TNT events. That’s because you’re meeting and hanging out with like-minded people, with those endorphins pumping…) Here are three upcoming events to choose from!

Hike Yosemite with Team In Training on June 15 and see El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Falls, and ancient sequoia trees. Hiking distances range from short and easy to long and challenging. Hiking coaches will get you ready to rock before the trip.

America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride, June 2: Cycle a big beautiful loop around Lake Tahoe! Cyclists of all ages and experiences pedal amid epic Sierra Nevada scenery, with a rest stop overlooking famous Emerald Bay, and a climb to Spooner Junction (choose a cycling distance of 35, 72, or 100 miles). You’ll get personal coaching, an event-day jersey, and bragging rights at your next spin class!

Run the Napa-to-Sonoma Half Marathon, July 20-21. Named a Top 20 Half Marathon, this popular race starts at Napa’s Cuvaison Carneros Winery and finishes at historic Sonoma Plaza, with wine country ambience all along the way (and of course, great wines afterwards). Bonus: This race is sold out; the only way to get a spot is with Team In Training, plus you’re supporting a good cause!

About Team In Training: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training is the first and largest charity sports training program, dedicated to the fight against blood cancers. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned athlete, Team In Training will train you to achieve your best at running events, triathlons, bike rides, or hiking adventures!
