In downtown Roseburg, enjoy some visual storytelling among the beautiful murals on an Art Walk. In 2022 Roseburg created a mural project celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of local culture. Created by West Coast–based artists and occupying entire walls across the city, it's a complimentary outdoor museum.

Tip: Stop at Gathering Grounds Coffee downtown for an afternoon pick-me-up of delicious vegan pastries, and a Power Smoothie. Or have lunch at Brix, an upscale setting with a laid-back style.

Wine O’Clock has arrived (whenever you decide it’s time), so head to Roseburg’s Great Umpqua region. Just south of Roseburg, in the heart of the Umpqua Valley, Abacela winery is the birthplace of American Tempranillo. The outdoor patio here is lovely, surrounded by vineyard. Take a stroll and enjoy a game of Ladder Toss. Tours to learn more about the wines and the vineyard’s uniqueness run two days a week in summer.

Also of note for views and crisp white wines: Melrose Vineyards. The terrace overlooks the vineyard and valley.

Craft Brew Bonus: Roseburg has been quietly brewing up an excellent beer trail thanks to its burgeoning craft brew scene. Two Shy Brewing is family friendly, pet friendly, and has indoor and outdoor seating in downtown's hip industrial area. Rev up your beer game with an Ignition Double IPA or say you went hiking when really you were drinking the Umpqua Trail IPA, an homage to Roseburg's nearby North Umpqua Trail.
